I am a graduate of Grundy Center High School (’98) and AIB College of Business (’01).  Straight out of court reporting school I decided to move out to the big city of Indianapolis and try my hands at freelance reporting for a firm out there. I was ready to move back home, so I started with the State of Iowa in February of 2023 and the past 3.5 years have truly just flown by!!  I work in District 1 and mostly am in Black Hawk County.

In my free time I enjoy going out and golfing league and also bowling.  My husband and I love to travel, and we’ll hopefully get to do much more of it as I gain more vacation time…LOL! We love to spend time with friends and to get our family together as often as we’re able to!

I have really enjoyed serving on the Iowa Court Reporters Association board!  It has given me a chance to meet and get to know more of my colleagues here in our state who are working so hard for our profession.
