Annual Convention scheduled for June 22-24, 2020, has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are currently facing.

We at ICRA encourage you to take advantage of this time before the rush of returning to work as usual to complete any CEU's you may need.  NCRA has extended the deadline by three months for those whose points need to be in by September of this year only.

Aside from the CEU opportunities, the social networking and coming together at convention is of highest importance to many attendees.  In this strange time that is the most disappointing aspect of this difficult decision.  We look forward to seeing membership gathered.  The board had organized a very interesting seminar, and we hope that those speakers will be available to present in the future.  Aside from the logistics, the health and safety of our membership had to be paramount, in addition to the decision being made by ISBA to cancel.  We are hopeful that we will be able to present a midyear seminar in late fall/early winter.

Our thoughts are with everyone during this time of uncertainty.  We wish you safety and health, and look forward to the opportunity of all being together in the future!  Please reach out to any board member if you need assistance with anything.

ICRA's purpose is to promote and advance the interest of those persons engaged in the profession of shorthand reporting throughout the state of Iowa, to develop greater awareness in appreciation for the profession through public education, and to generally promote the shorthand reporting industry.
