I am a native of the south side of Des Moines and attended court reporting school at AIB College of Business. After completing my degree in 2010, I moved to Kansas City to begin my freelance career.

In the summer of 2019, we moved back to the Des Moines metro area to be near family and began working for a local firm. In 2025 I started my own firm, For The Record Court Reporting.

Since opening For The Record, I have felt a desire to connect more with other reporters in the state and become more involved with ICRA. I look forward to serving as a board member.

I chose court reporting as my career because of the fast-paced environment and the opportunity to meet a variety of different people on a regular basis. When I am not in depositions or editing transcripts, I love beach vacations, houseplants, coffee shops, and boutique shopping.
