I am happy to announce that I have joined the ICRA board and am quite honored to be newly appointed as your association’s treasurer. I have had a fair amount of bookkeeping/accounting experience in other facets of my life and feel I have much to offer to our amazing association.

I am an AIB graduate (1991), spent my first seven professional years as a freelance reporter and went official in 1999 working in District 5 (Polk County). I am now in District 2A, consisting of some of the northernmost Iowa counties (God’s country:).

I have two adult children, Spencer (wife Veronica) and Morgan, and a granddaughter, Elouise. A little interesting fact you may not know about me is that I grew up in the bowling and food/beverage business. I’ve always been an avid bowler and am a member of the Iowa State Bowling Hall of Fame.

I am looking forward to working with this elite board, and I will work diligently to carry on our mission of upholding the gold standard in capturing the spoken word because, after all, in Iowa we are the Stars of the Record!
