IOWA COURT REPORTERS ASSOCIATION |
I grew up in Altoona, Iowa. I graduated from AIB College of Business in 2008 with a degree in Realtime Reporting. I began my career as a freelance reporter in Springfield, Missouri, with Alpha Reporting Service. In July of 2012, my husband and I moved back home to Iowa, and I took a position in August of 2012 with the Fifth Judicial District working for both the Honorable Rachael Seymour and the Honorable Romonda Belcher. In December of 2012, I was hired by the Honorable Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger and served as her court reporter until she left in 2016 after her appointment to the federal bench. I was then hired by the Honorable Robert Hanson in June of 2016 where I still serve today.
My husband, Andrew, and I were married in 2011. We have two children, Kennedy and Cooper, and a rambunctious dog named Harry Caray. We are huge Cubs fans! In my free time I enjoy running, being a mom, and spending time with friends and family.
I am very excited to serve on the ICRA Board as President-Elect this year. ICRA has done so much for our profession and our members, and it is an honor to be a part of this organization.
