| Members of the Iowa Court Reporters
Association are official and freelance court reporters, captioners and CART providers, including in- and
out-of-state participating members and nonresident members; teachers of
court reporting and captioning programs; and court reporting students.
The annual membership fee for
participating members is $110; nonresident members, $50; associate members
(any teacher of court reporting or anyone
connected in an official capacity with a school or college conducting
a court reporting course), $50; and student members, $15.

Iowa
CSRs are required to file a Report of Continuing Education Activities
on or before December 1 of each year with the Iowa Board or Shorthand Examiners.
This is required by Iowa Code, and the Iowa Board of Shorthand Examiners
is a completely separate entity from the Iowa Court Reporters Association.
An annual renewal fee of $10 is to be
sent with the form. A penalty of $25 is assessed if not filed on or
before December 1 of each year. More information can be found on the
