Board of Examiners of Shorthand Reporters

The Board of Examiners of Shorthand Reporters is a separate entity from the Iowa Court Reporters Association. It administers the examination and certification process for shorthand reporters in Iowa. The board also administers continuing education requirements and disciplinary actions with respect to shorthand reporters. The board advises the court on policies regarding shorthand reporting in Iowa.

Are you an RPR? Do you need a current NCRA report indicating your continuing education credits earned to send in with your CSR renewal application? Visit http://www.ncraonline.org. "Sign in" on the left side of the page.

If you have never logged in in this way, you will need your NCRA ID#, and your last name is your temporary password. You will have this temporary password even if you have previously used the Education Director portion of their site for CEU transcripts and previously had a password.

Click on "Check CEU Status" on the left. This form will give the details for your current three-year CEU cycle that you can print out and mail with your CSR renewal application.
