Iowa Court Reporters Association

I graduated from the American Institute of Business, Des Moines, Iowa, in court reporting and received my State certification (CSR). I am a Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) with the National Court Reporters Association. I have worked as an official reporter in Burlington, Iowa, for the past 29 years in District Associate Court.

ICRA is a strong organization because of the vast array of reporters who have gone before us, as well as the present ones, who care about their profession and who have volunteered their time to make it one of the best court reporting associations in the country. I consider it a privilege and honor to work among official and freelance reporters, captioners, CART providers, reporting and captioning students and teachers in this State.

I hope, with the help and wisdom of many who share this unique profession, to be a president who can retain the respect and professionalism that has been afforded to us. Working together as a team, we shall strive to find answers and solutions to upcoming concerns and interests.
