Sarah M. Hyatt, RPR, CSR
Sarah lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and works as an official reporter in the Sixth Judicial District for District Court Judge Paul D. Miller.
Originally from Fort Madison, Iowa, Sarah graduated from Aquinas High School in 1990 and started in the court reporting program at American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa, in the fall of that year. She received an Associate of Arts degree with a major in court reporting from AIB in September of 1992. In January of 1993, Sarah commenced her freelancing career in Charlottesville, Virginia, with Cavalier Reporting, Inc. She worked in Charlottesville until October 1995 and then returned home to Iowa upon accepting a position with the freelance firm of Kool & Nygren, Inc., in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Sarah enjoyed freelancing with Kool & Nygren, Inc., until May 2007 when she was hired as an official court reporter by Chief Judge David M. Remley in the Sixth Judicial District. After Judge Remley retired, Sarah was hired by his replacement, Judge Paul D. Miller, in July 2010.

VICE-PRESIDENT:
Shall attend and actively participate in no less than two of the ICRA quarterly board meetings and any special meetings called by the President.
Shall oversee activities as Board Liaison member of ICRA committees as assigned by the President.
Shall update the dues notice and author a letter to be distributed to the membership in November, and author a reminder letter for dues to be distributed by March 30.
Shall coordinate the Student Scholarship Program and make the presentation of the scholarship to the recipient at the annual convention.
